  • Where is the starting point for the race? (note: same location as 2001)
The race starts 1.5 miles south of the Huntington Beach pier, in the beach parking lot located between Beach Boulevard and Newland. Enter the parking lot near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Beach Boulevard or near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Newland.

  • Where can I park?
There are several options. If you get there early, before the parking lot attendant shows up, you can park in the beach parking lot for free.
    Other options are:
    • You can park (all day) for $3 in the parking lots along Pacific Coast Highway south of Beach Boulevard.
    • You can park (all day) for $7 in the parking lots along Pacific Coast Highway north of Beach Boulevard.
    • You can park on Pacific Coast Highway and put money in the parking meter. (25 cents = 15 minutes; 2-hour time limit). We will have a volunteer present to make change for people who want quarters.
    • You can find residential parking on a nearby street.

We recommend that you arrive early in time to find a parking spot.

  • What are the age categories?
The age categories for the race are:
    14 and under 30-34 45-49 60-64

  • How old do you have to be to run the Children’s Run?
There is no age limit to participate in the Children's Run. But anyone that's a teenager or older would probably find more of a challenge running in the 5K or a 10K. The children’s run will be 1/2 K (500 metres).

See the Race Registration link on the left for complete details.
You can register online at active.com; or you can print and fill out our Race Entry Form; or you can register on the day of the event (if you arrive early enough to do so.)
